Orientation for New Homeowners

Home Buyer Application and Orientation 

Applications for home buyers are processed once the complete package is received at the office.

A complete package consists of:

1) Executed and Legible Real Estate Purchase Contract.

2) Section Ten Residency Application Form.

3) Clear and Legible copy of Driver License or State ID for each occupant purchasing and each adult occupant living in residence.

4) Rules and Regulations, initialed.

5) Application Fee of $150 payable to Mainland Section Ten Association, Inc., in the form of check, money order or exact cash.

6) Pet Registration Form completed with all necessary documentation.

7) Signed Consent to Background check for each occupant over 18 years old. 

8) Estoppel request with $150 processing fee received from Title Company.

9) Association Approval Letter is issued to the persons named on the Real Estate Purchase Agreement and Estoppel Request ONLY.

Once the above information is received, the Estoppel will be processed and the application is forwarded to the orientation committee.

The orientation committee will reach out to the buyer to schedule the in person orientation. 

NO Orientation is scheduled or begun until the estoppel has been received in the HOA office.

IF AN ORIENTATION IS NOT COMPLETED BEFORE THE CLOSING THE NEW HOMEOWNER WILL BE IN VIOLATION WITH THE HOA

AND WILL BE ASSESSED A $1,000.00 FINE AND COMPLAINTS WILL BE FILED WITH RESPECTIVE PROFESSIONAL REGULATORS.

THE ORIENTATION IS WITH ALL THE BUYERS ON TITLE AT THE SAME APPOINTMENT.  The availability of days and times will be

scheduled with the committee when the chairperson calls to set up the appointment.  We are very considerate of people's schedules.

The orientation fee is $150.00 made payable to Section Ten Association, Inc., payable by check or cash.  

We do not accept debit or credit cards.
